Empire Review Podcast
This is my first attempt making a podcast and I did it on the fly. By fly, I mean I just turned on the mic and started speaking into it with no rehearsal or cuts, so pardon my hesitation (and cursing) at times.
Please leave any feedback you have for me here! I was doing the talking with the old Empire book opened and the new one as well, so I was going back and forth. Don't worry though, the emphasis is still on the new book. I was going to mention that even though Light and Heavens Wizard Lords can ride on the Luminark and Hurricanum, they are still available in the Rare choices for all. Somehow, I managed to forget mentioning that in the podcast.
Enjoy!

I think you need to move the file hosting to something that can be easy accessed. I'm quite interested in hearing what you've got to say since the written post was pretty good i'm just not overly keen on signing my self up for another site to get to it.
Got any recommendations? Most of the free sharing sites got taken down.
iTunes? Despite spending way too many hours listening to podcasts, I have no idea how the work behind the scenes. I recall a lot of folks using Libsyn (or something like that) a few years ago, but in the wake of all the SOPA/PIPA/Megauploads turmoil things may be very different now.
All that said, I'm also curious about reviews of this new Empire book. I don't play Fantasy (I barely play 40k), but I do have a huge pile of Empire stuff lying around waiting for some love. I'm generally opposed to GW's book pricing, but I would like to give the new edition of Fantasy a shot, and if I get in it's going to be through Empire.
I wanted to check it out, but the hosting site stopped me. Any chance you could just upload it onto youtube? You could just have your website image in place of a video, lots of music does similar.
Yeah, I'll do it tonight.
I like your idea of doing the podcast, and over all it is great to hear the review at such an early stage, right when the book come out.
However, I want to add that your review mostly talk about what the units can do, which most of us can read by ourselves when we grab the new book. This becomes a problem when the whole review takes almost an hour to listen to. All I really want to hear is how the army as a whole will fare against the current meta game, and what kind of units or combos would be effective.
Over all though, I like it! Keep up the good work ;)
Good feedback, AND I plan on doing my next one on youtube :)
I rly apreciate your podcast, and I agree with the Wupin's opinion. Even tho I apreciated the reading of the rules I'd like to hear some more stuff about them, like possibile interactions or scenarios that may come up from such good rules.
Overall great job Hero and hope to hear your next podcast pretty soon! keep on the good work!
How did you go?
My Windows Media Maker keeps freezing when compiling, so I need to find another program to do it in :\
