As far as hunting vanguard units, though, at least as effective, and wounds you're doing outside of CC means more live daemons. Beasts of Nurgle is another thought, mainly because they're much tougher than the fiends, have about the same punch, and though considerably slower, your slaanesh magic pretty much fixes that. Reducing something to Random move d6 is awesome, but not as important if half your army is M10. ASL on an enemy helps, but again, not as much if everything is I5 and up.

Or just throw a wizard level on the BSB, and run both those lvl 1s as shadow--best of both worlds. Then a lesser gift somewhere? 2 more daemonettes? A 25 point Banner of Absolutely No Effect?Adamnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8229245860561585942.post-35750825218370007252013-03-17T16:31:06.227-07:002013-03-17T16:31:06.227-07:00Thoughts on cutting Furies for 2x2 Fiends? Shadow is just an overall good tree, but Slaanesh could help keep engagements flowing my way vs. high armor just through sheer number of strike firsts + combat res generated by superior movement.HEROhttp://lkhero.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8229245860561585942.post-10431230530348380292013-03-17T15:08:17.790-07:002013-03-17T15:08:17.790-07:00Interesting list, should be fun to play. One quibble--given your speed and the vulnerability of the KoS to cannons, don't you want more of a chance at 1st turn? I'd think drop the furies, unless you figure that 9 drops won't go first very often anyway.

Biggest worries would be high armor/T--Cacophonic Choir helps there, but I'm not sure you want to be 6-dicing with the Keeper all game to get the big one. Would Shadow possibly help you out more than Slaanesh lore (and note here the fun you could have with that lore attribute)-- debuffs, pit of shades (who cares if it scatters onto slaanesh troops?), mindrazor?Adamnoreply@blogger.com
