My next 2K DE list

I know it's been a while guys and I apologize for my tardiness.  There's a lot of game systems that I play now and all of them need my attention!  Check out this army list that I came up with today.

1992
22 kp

HQ:
Asdrubael Vect = 240

TROOP:
9x Wyches (Raider NS, Hekatrix/Agnoizer/BP) = 205
5x Warrior (Raider NS, Blaster) = 130
5x Warrior (Raider NS, Blaster) = 130
5x Warrior (Raider NS, Blaster) = 130
5x Warrior (Raider NS, Blaster) = 130
5x Warrior (Raider NS, Blaster) = 130

ELITE:
4x Trueborn (Venom NS/SC, 4x Blaster) = 183
4x Trueborn (Venom NS/SC, 4x Blaster) = 183
3x Trueborn (Venom NS/SC, 3x Blaster) = 156

HEAVY:
Ravager (NS/FF) = 125
Ravager (NS/FF) = 125
Ravager (NS/FF) = 125

15 Opening volley lances with 48" threat
16 Blasters with 24" threat range, 1 Blast Pistol
32 Total Lance weapons
36 Splinter Cannon shots

I'm proud to say that I've tried many of the things that I said I would.. all except the Voidraven Bomber.  I am also proud to confirm that the king of the special slot is the 3-4x Trueborn w/ Blasters in Venom w/ NS + extra Splinter Cannon.  That unit is so solid it's not even funny.  It has excellent anti-tank, threat range, low-profile, has NS/FF, and can put out an excellent amount of poisoned shots from 48" threat.

Wracks are good, but they lack the firepower that I desire in my Dark Eldar.  My Kabal is all about wrecking face and doing good damage and I don't find Wracks filling that role.  The T4 and FNP is amazing and I will miss that, but something about them just isn't me.  Besides, I built a bunch of Warriors and I think the extra Blaster shot is nice.

What do you guys think about the list?  It's very MSU and boasts a lot of vehicles.  The small warrior size gives me a very small presence on the board and most armies don't feel wasting an entire squads worth of shooting on 5 dudes.  That means they can run around and score or shoot off their blaster.  The entire army is extremely fast and puts out a lot of firepower on the opening turn.  Once the vehicles push up 12" and take their opening shots (which is 36 Poisoned shots and 15 Dark Lances), the next round is followed up by 2x as many S8 AP2 Lance weapons.

Another alteration in the list would be dropping the 4x Trueborn to 3x w/ Blasters and dropping a Ravager for a Voidraven Bomber.  This will give me S9 Lance presence and some missiles to shoot at horde armies.  Thoughts?

I like the firepower this list puts out, but my biggest concern is running Vect with the Wyches. If the Wych Raider gets shot down they have very little chance of surviving long enough to get Vect into combat. With a list like this, it may be okay to drop Vect. With Night Shields all over the place, if you deploy defensively you should minimize the damage you take first turn anyway.

3x3 Trueborn (NS/SC Venom) - 468

6x5 Warriors (NS Raider) - 810

3x Ravager (NS, FF) - 375

That leaves 347 points to spend on an HQ and more shooting :)

Honestly Night Shields are a waste of points on your Raiders and Venoms. You have to be within 18" to shoot with the guys inside and then you're within range of anything your opponent wants to shoot back at you.
Even just taking them for going second is a waste as 48" guns will still reach you and even 36" guns on vehicles could possibly hit you based on deployment.

On Ravagers they're still not stellar as most of the time you're shooting at tanks and therefore have to be within 36" to shoot at them so they can shoot you next turn anyways.

Night shields help you stay out of Hive Guard range along with meltaguns and Rapid Fire bolters, but they don't do enough to warrant the 120 points you're spending on them.

Slick looking list. Your temptation to run a voidraven is well warranted, they can be devastating. Here's how I would work it into your list while also creating another beastly unit.

Change the wyches to a 5 man warrior squad

Change the 3 man trueborn to 4 Incubi (this is Vect's new crew)

And you should have enough points to upgrade one of the ravagers to a Voidraven with 4 missles. As a bonus now Vect has some 3+ armored cronies to help bring the pain. As for the missles I haven't tried anything other than shatterfield.

Not gonna lie, this list is looking pretty tempting. Maybe when they come out with the new Venom model I'll give it a go.

nice. I like this:

Asdrubael Vect with Court of the Archon
Lhameans, Medusae, Sslyths, Ur-Ghul in Venom with 2xSplinter Cannon

3x Kabalite Trueborn units
4x Trueborn with 4x Blaster in Venom with 2xSplinter Cannon

6x Kabalite Warrior units
Blaster, 5x Warriors in Venom with 2xSplinter Cannon

3xRavager with dark lances

I know it is cut/paste spam that inspires such hate from the interwebs but really... look at the potential with 120 splinter cannon shots a turn, 9 dark lances, and 18 blasters shooting +occasional 24 splinter rifles rapid firing for 48 additional poison shots. Vect has failed his very first 2+ save for me in 4 games so far and died as it was a st6 or better shot... and he has still been worth his points for the killy goodness before he died and the seize ability.

Wracks have liquifier guns which absolutely wreck face on MEQ, and they are our best objective holders in the army.
